PowerVibe

One of my favorite exercises is the PowerVibe; the one with the oscillating plate that has many exercise benefits including:

  • increasing lymphatic flow
  • increasing circulation
  • increasing metabolism
  • strengthening muscles including core
  • stimulating the release of growth hormones
  • training balance

You may have realized that I like to switch up my exercises quite a bit. That is, I like to do different exercises each day. It is no different with the PowerVibe. This is not an everyday exercise for me. However, it is one of those that I use more frequently than others. I might use the powervibe 3 or 4 times per week. But I will also use other more challenging exercises those same days - like jumping rope.

As you think about your exercise routines, consider whether or not you are mixing it up enough. That is, are you stuck in the same old routine or do you try new exercises that challenge different muscle groups?

And don't forget to check with your doctor before making significant changes to your exercise schedule.

Hi Dr. Mike, I like the exercises and give you a lot of credit for using this machine on the YouTube. It was overall really good but I know not as easy as you made it look! LOL!!!
